How it works
What happens after you contact us
Louisiana went from very little of this to a great deal of it in a short time, and most landowners here are working out what it means from news coverage rather than from anything specific to their own place. Here is how we go about answering that for a particular property.
You tell us about the land
Tell us the parish, roughly the acreage, and what you have noticed around the place. Mention any pipeline, well, or servitude you know of. Where you are unsure, say so rather than guessing.
We check it against public records
We look up your utility, the transmission near you, and what the parish has already done about projects like this. Most of it is public record and none of it costs you anything.
We call you if it looks workable
If it looks workable we come back with what we found and what we would want to do next. If it does not, we say so and give you the reason instead of going quiet.
We make an offer, or we tell you why not
Only then does anything become paperwork, and only once your attorney has read it. Nothing before that point asks you for money, a signature, or exclusivity.
None of that asks you to spend anything or to stop speaking to other parties. If somebody approaches your Louisiana land wanting either before they have shown you what they looked at, take your time over it.
Ready to find out?
Tell us about your property. There is no cost and no obligation. If it does not fit, we will tell you plainly.
